Promo reviews re-available on App Store

   Several months ago, Apple banned writing reviews for apps download using a promo code. This caused problems for promo code dispensers.This is because promo code dispensers would force you to write an app review before downloading another app, the reason they did this is that app developers would want more reviews and feedback so would offer free promo codes to the promo code dispensers.

Twitter updated- poor customer reviews

EA bought PopCap!

   A big shock! EA bought Popcap for a total price of $1.3 billion. Popcap are the owners of the well-known Plants vs Zombies, Bejeweled and Zuma. Popcap as a business has been doing exceptionally well at providing highly addictive games.Plants vs Zombies alone had 300,000 downloads in the first nine days of its App Store release.

Customise keyboard options on iPhone

The iPhone keyboard is probably the best smartphone keyboard yet. However, you may sometimes need to adjust a few of your own preferences to the iPhone keyboard.
Fortunately, Apple have done the job. You are offered various settings for your iPhone keyboard. Simply navigate to 'settings-->general-->keyboard' to find the adjustable settings.
Additionally, Apple have released keyboard shortcuts in iOS 5(post coming soon!). Keyboard shortcuts takes smartphone keyboards a step ahead.

iDragpaper- drag paper on iPhone

iPhone is a great gaming console. However you may sometimes feel like playing a mini-game. iDragpaper is the solution. iDragpaper is a challenging mini-game.
In the game you only have to pull toilet paper from a toilet roll. It is a challenging game to play with friends and see who gets the highest score ( my best score is 7.94 secs).

How to customise autofill options on iDevice

It is annoying to have to type in your username and password everytime you login into a website using Safari. Thankfully Apple has offered a couple of autofill options for iPhone.
There are two options you can enable on you iDevice, 'contact info' and 'user names and passwords'. For the contact info you can use a contact with your information such as e-mail or phone number. For the user names and passwords, the iPhone automatically saves your typed in user name and password for future reference.

How to hide carrier name using SBSettings

Your carrier does you a lot of favour, but what if you do not want to repay them that favour? It is enough that you pay for using the carrier services, but you may not want to have their name continuosly showing up on your iPhone status bar.
You can use SBSettings to hide your carrier name. The instructions are are simple and straightforward.
1) download sbsettings from Cydia
2) swipe your statusbar to the right to bring the sbsettings toggles or simply launch the sbsettings app
3) scroll down to the system options and click on it
4) you will find a 'delete carrier name' toggle
5) toggle it to on
6) press the home button and your device should auto-respring , if it doesn't then a manual respring is required

That's it! Now you don't need to see the annoying carrier name on your iPhone the whole time.

iCloud app for iOS 3

Iam pretty sure there are a lot of iOS 3 users out there. Iam also sure that these users would like features from iOS 5. iCloud is an example.
Whited00r released their iOS 5 frimware several weeks ago. A feature in this frimware was an iCloud app. To get the app you can restore to the whited00r custom frimware available on or download it from their cydia source
