Microsoft announce their own tablet called surface

Alright now Microsoft are fighting back. Surface is the name given to the new tablet that has been announced by Microsoft. The idea is good. Especially considering its Kickstand and Touch Cover, two other features which I'll be telling you more about. So what's going on? What it Surface? What are all these other new names we're hearing? Read on to find out more..

Surface is the name given to the Microsoft tablet. Surface features:

• a 9.3mm width
• 10.6" 16:9 HD screen
• Pressure sensitive keyboard (Touch Cover)
• Kickstand (holds up the tablet)
• Two cameras

That's about it. Surface obviously runs Windows 8 which to be honest isn't a great software in comparison to their competitors. However, I'm pretty sure that this will kick out any iPad competitors. You may want to see a comparison of iPad and Kindle Fire or a review of the new iPad.
