Fit more icons on your iPhone home screen [Jailbreak Tweak]

March 4, 2013
One thing I don't like to do on my iPhone is scrolling between pages to get to my apps. So I made folders on my iPhone to reduce the number of pages, but for someone with almost 200 apps I still had to constantly scroll between pages to find apps. I tried sticking to spotlight, but typing the name of the app every single time is too much. So I found this way on Cydia to fit more icons on your springboard and reduce the size of the icons for a great overall look. Now I only have 2 pages on my iPhone, and if you want to see how this is done then read on for a tutorial as well as a video I made to show you how to set it up!
I'll first have the video here because the video clearly shows you all the steps you need to take to add more icons per page. If you don't want to watch the video, or if you want further instructions then read on below the video.

To have more icons on every page you'll first need to have a jailbroken iPhone. If your iPhone is not jailbroken click here for how to jailbreak (Jailbreaking is worth it!). Here is a step by step tutorial if you did not watch the video:

1. Open Cydia
2. Search for Bigify and add it to the queue
3. Search for Five-Column Springboard and download it
4. Your iPhone will respring
5. Open the Settings app on your iPhone
6. Make sure the five column springboard is enabled, and adjust the scale size in Bigify to roughly a third
7. Respring your iPhone again

Now you can enjoy more icons on your page!

Share this tip with your friends and they'll be grateful too! If you need any help I'm more than happy to answer your questions.
